Musical forests made from lasers, drones that become an organ of light, a light-painted supercar, and a virtual experience that gives you the sensory perceptions of woodland creatures. These are just some of the projects by Marshmallow Laser Feast (MLF).

Since 2011 MLF have been creating visually stunning projects by harnessing technology to create emotional experiences. By pushing the boundaries of art, science and technology, they’ve become the leaders in the emerging realms of mixed reality and nonlinear sensory experiences.
Further to their self initiated projects, MLF are creating visionary set pieces for brands and partners seeking a new language to communicate their concepts and engage audiences, these include Will.i.am, McLaren, Vodafone, Castrol, VW and Michelin-star chef Heston Blumenthal.
Co-founder of MLF, Barnaby Steel is a visual artist whose work straddles experimental genres and unfamiliar mediums, using emerging technologies to create new experiences and forms of expression. Steel hopes to bridge the gap between science and art and create a new landscape where wonder is ignited. Barnaby’s new talk explores virtual reality as a window to the world beyond our senses and an alternative means of reconnecting with nature.
Ersinhan Ersin is an artist and co-creative director at MLF. His work focuses on the relationship between real and orchestrated experiences. Utilising computation and technology, he examines human perception, spatialisation and movement. Drawing influence from the fields of biosemiosis, cross-modal perception and performance, his recent work focuses on non-linear sensory experiences in mixed reality.
